The tool your business needs, built and managed for you.
We design web and mobile apps, client portals and internal tools that replace spreadsheets and endless email threads. And when a project involves more than one vendor, we manage it end to end on your behalf.
Who it’s for
A small business running a process on a spreadsheet
Requests, orders, service calls: everything goes through a shared file and an email inbox. It works, until the day two people edit the same row.
A company that wants a client portal
Your clients email you to get a document, check on a file or rebook an appointment. A portal gives them the answer without going through you.
A leadership team with a project and no one to run it
The need is clear and the budget is there, but no one in-house knows how to write a spec, compare bids or check what gets delivered.
What you get
Scoping
- Your users’ journeys, written down and approved with them
- A costed scope: what goes into version one, and what waits
- Hosting, account and access choices, all in your name
Design
- Key screens designed with your real content
- A clickable prototype, tested before a single line of code
- Your business rules, spelled out in black and white
Finished app
- A tested app, on the web or on phones
- Documentation and a hands-on training session
- The code, data and logins in your name
How it works
Assessment
One call about your current process and what it costs you. We come away with what we need to write a firm proposal.
Scoping
User flows, rules and the scope of version one, set down in writing before any development starts.
Prototype
The main screens, clickable, put in front of the people who will use them. We fix things here, not later.
Development
We build the app in stages, and you can see it online the whole time.
Go-live
Data migration, acceptance testing with you, training, then a month of support.
Plan on two to four weeks for a first version, depending on the number of user flows and the tools to connect. Larger projects ship in stages.
What makes the difference
Process before screens
An app builder produces screens. It doesn’t know which exception your team handles by hand every Friday, or why.
A first version that’s actually useful
We ship what gets used every day first, then expand. An app you wait six months for is an app people work around.
No hidden lock-in
The code, the hosting and the data are in your name. Another vendor can pick up the work without asking our permission.
Project management
This is our project support service. When it involves other vendors, we act as your digital team: we look out for your interests, not ours.
Scoping
The need written in plain language, priorities set, and a realistic budget before anyone gets asked for a bid.
Choosing vendors and tools
A spec sent out, bids compared on the same criteria, and a written recommendation with the reasons behind it.
Project oversight
Regular check-ins with each contributor, a schedule that holds, and dated meeting notes you can go back to.
Acceptance testing
What gets delivered is checked against what was promised, flow by flow, before you sign off.
Pricing
Scoping
The project defined before it is built: user journeys, scope and estimate.
FromCA$2,500€1,800
Then a monthly plan
Essential
Your site kept up to date and backed up, with one place to follow everything.
FromCA$99€59 per month
What affects the price
- The number of user flows and user roles
- Web only, or web and mobile
- Existing tools to connect and data to migrate
- The level of security and privacy required
- How much third-party vendor management is involved
Frequently asked questions
Web app or mobile app?
Most of the time, a web app that works well on phones is enough, and it costs less to evolve. We recommend an installable app only when the use case calls for it: offline access, notifications, the camera.
What technologies do you work with?
Widely used, well-documented technologies, chosen so another developer can take over the code without us: fast apps, hosted with established providers, and easy to evolve.
Can you manage a project you’re not building?
Yes. That’s our project support service: we write up the need, choose vendors with you, oversee the work and check the delivery. We tell you up front if we’re also bidding on the work ourselves.
What happens after go-live?
One month of support is included. After that, it’s your call: full independence, a maintenance plan, or folding the app into your digital partnership.
Let’s talk about your project.
Tell us where things stand. We reply within one business day with an honest opinion, even when the timing isn’t right.
